The Public Information Office handles on- and off-campus marketing and communications.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating media interviews
  • Producing and reviewing the college’s online and print publications
  • Communicating important information to employees and students
  • Strategizing for marketing and brand awareness

The Director of Community Relations and Communications is the college spokesperson when responding to the media or may work with other college staff to advise them on how to prepare for media interviews. All media inquiries should be referred or reported to this office.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday

All Public Record Requests should be sent to Rose Bell, Director of Community Relations and Communications, at rosebell@mendocino.edu 

Mendocino College offers event space to internal and external business/nonprofit partners. Those wishing to hold an event on campus need to submit a request form at least 30-days in advance.

All requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests turned in after the deadline may lose consideration. Requests are processed in the order received after District classes and activities are scheduled. Events will generally not be scheduled on any Federal or State holidays, or official days of college closure.
