About the North County Center

The Mendocino College North County Center, our local link to the California Community College System, offers a small but healthy selection of community college classes, programs and services to the rural communities of inland Mendocino County. From our central location in beautiful downtown Willits, our faculty and staff serve the communities of Willits, Laytonville, Round Valley and Anderson Valley. Like other educators, we at the North County Center believe that higher education at our community college can open many new doors and provide a basis for students to realize their dreams.

Our longtime presence in the inland valley communities of Mendocino County reflects the Mendocino College commitment to provide district-wide access to the California Community College System -- whether you happen to live near Willits itself, or in smaller towns such as Laytonville, Covelo, or Boonville; in more isolated places like Sherwood, Spyrock, Hearst, Branscomb, Ridgewood, Bell Springs, or even all by yourself on a hillside far from anywhere.

The North County Center is part of the Mendocino-Lake Community College District, and one of three off-campus centers operated by Mendocino College.  Our other centers are located in Lakeport and Fort Bragg.

The North County Center is located at 372 E. Commercial Street in Willits.  Please call (707) 459-6224 for information and service appointments.
