Overview
Eagle Connect (powered by Starfish) is Mendocino College’s early alert and student support platform. Eagle Connect helps students stay on track by connecting them with instructors, counselors, and support services through a centralized dashboard.
Features for Students
- View to-do (action) items, flags (concerns), kudos (compliments), and referrals to campus services
- Schedule appointments with counselors and instructors
- Access your personalized success network made up of current instructors and support staff
- Update your profile with contact preferences
Features for Faculty
- Raise flags or kudos to provide your student(s) with timely feedback and support
- Refer students to campus support services
- Set up office hours and manage appointments
- Track student engagement and close the loop
How It Works
Faculty and staff use Eagle Connect to provide timely feedback and support by creating flags, referrals, or kudos. Students receive an email notification and can take action directly from their dashboard. In cases where staff support is required, a staff member will reach out to the student to help resolve any issue or concern. The platform integrates with MyMendo and Canvas for seamless access.
