Writing Center Ukiah Hours

The Mendocino College Writing Center is located on the Ukiah campus in the Southeast corner of the library. Writing labs are also held at our satellite locations during the hours below.  The Writing Center is where all of our Writing Labs (English 60, 160, and 560) are now held. For more information about the labs and the English program in general visit the department page.

Hours of operation: Monday - Thursday from 9:30-2:00 and 4-6 and Fridays from 10:00 - 1:00

The English department wants to encourage students from any discipline, who have essays, or rigorous writing assignments, to enroll in one of the lab classes.  The labs are intended to provide support for all students, not just English students.

English 60 and 160 can be taken for either .5 unit or 1 unit, but English 560 is 0 units.  ENG 560 is an ideal class for students who cannot take on any more units or hours, but would benefit from additional writing support. (Students can enroll in English 560 until November 14.)
