Join the Mendocino College community at the Ukiah Campus for the Fall Student Welcome, beginning with a keynote on the critical role of your Student Education Plan (SEP) in achieving academic success. Following the presentation, explore student resources, attend focused workshops, explore pathways, and connect with support services. Whether you're new or returning, this event is your opportunity to begin the semester informed and prepared.

For all STEM majors or potential STEM majors - This orientation will provide you with knowledge, skills, and the mindset to excel in your program. Meet your future classmates, explore support services, and develop key learning strategies in a relaxed and fun environment. A free lunch will be provided. 

$200 stipend will be awarded to those who attend both days & have declared a STEM major!

The Mendocino College Art Gallery, housed in the Center for Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA), celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020. Since its inception in 1995, the gallery has made a significant contribution to the cultural life of Mendocino County, presenting more than 100 exhibitions during this time. Celebrating regional, national, and international artists as well as MC students, the gallery stays true to its educational role and provides students with an opportunity to learn firsthand about gallery management, exhibition design, and installation practices.

The Ukiah Community Concert Association presents

Professional Pianists Concerts

Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 7:00 pm
and Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm

Don’t miss the 33rd annual Professional Pianist Concerts, a collaborative production by the Ukiah Community Concert Association and Spencer Brewer, and a benefit for the Mendocino College Recording Arts Club, the Allegro Scholarship Program, and the Ukiah Community Concert Association.

This utterly fun and stimulating series features the finest regional pianists inviting you into their onstage “living room” and, throughout the performance, trading stories and melodies with two pianos on stage to accommodate impromptu collaborations.

The event is legendary and an annual sellout because of the diversity and quality of a multitude of styles of music, spiced with humor throughout the show.

Tickets:

General seating tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The “I wanna see the hands” section tickets are $35. 

Tickets go on sale the second week of December and make great Christmas gifts! 

Available at the Mendocino Book Company in Ukiah, Mazahar in Willits, and through Brown Paper Tickets. If not completely sold out, tickets may be available at the door.

Mendocino College is holding Auditions for the Spring play, Rumors by Neil Simon!

Thursday, December 11th at 6 PM in the Center Theatre on the Ukiah campus.
Call-backs as needed, Tuesday, Dec 12th at 6 PM

Seeking actors of all ethnicities, ages, and backgrounds! No preparation is necessary for the auditions.

Production crew is also needed to assist with scenery, costumes, props, lighting, and stage management.

When guests arrive at a dinner party to find the host unconscious and the hostess missing, panic and confusion take center stage. It’s high society gone hilariously wrong as cover-ups and misunderstandings spiral out of control. Come see this delightful romp through deception, decorum, and disaster!
