You are invited to join us in celebrating the achievements of our inaugural cohort of the Faculty Diversity Mentorship Program. This special event will honor six dedicated mentees who have successfully completed a year-long program designed to prepare them for roles as community college faculty.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in a series of workshops during Fall 2024 and a paired teaching experience in Spring 2025. During the symposium, each mentee will present their capstone projects focused on equity in higher education.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to this program, especially to the faculty mentors—Yuliya Ritchley, Greg Hicks, Ginny Buccelli, Jason Davis, Lori Thomas, Leslie Banta, Maggie Von Vogt, and Lisa Furlong—whose guidance and support were instrumental in this program's the success.

Looking ahead, we are excited to offer this opportunity again in the 2026-2027 school year and biennially thereafter. If you know individuals in the community who are interested in teaching with us, please share this future opportunity with them.

We look forward to celebrating with you and recognizing the outstanding work of our mentees.

The 2025 commencement ceremony will be held in person to celebrate the Mendocino College graduating class of 2025. The ceremony will be held at the Stadium Field on the Ukiah Campus on Friday, May 23, at 6:00 PM.

This is an opportunity for scholarship recipients, scholarship sponsors/donors, faculty, and staff to meet and mingle!

Music and light refreshments will be provided.

Come together to celebrate and support our Middle College seniors' college acceptances and commitments, and achievement recognition! 

Please join us on Thursday, May 8th from 5-7 PM for our annual Registration Fiesta at the Lake Center. This free, family-friendly English/Spanish bilingual event provides opportunities for students to enroll for Summer & Fall classes at Mendocino College as well as explore other opportunities at the college. We will be providing a free dinner (we will be serving tacos made on the spot!), as well as information from Mendocino College Student Services & Academic departments, with fun games for all.

Participants get a chance to win prizes, including a new Chromebook!

Students and non-student community members are invited to explore areas of study with instructors across career and transfer topics while chatting with employers in related fields. Engage with student services including financial aid, MESA, the Native American Resource Center, LGBTQIA+ support, and more. 

Free lunch and prizes available for all attendees!

The State deadline is March 2nd each year. Continuing community college students have until September 2nd of each year, the secondary deadline for Cal Grant Consideration.
