Back by popular demand after a five year hiatus, this year's "Golden Gala" is a fundraiser for the Mendocino College Foundation 50th Anniversary Scholarship Fund benefitting Mendocino College students. We welcome Senator Mike McGuire as our Emcee, local auctioneer Rachel Louise Britten who will showcase the amazing live auction packages, as well as the always popular Golden Ticket, Wine Pull, amazing appetizers and wine from some of the area's best chefs and winemakers - this is an event you DONT WANT TO MISS!
For the main course enjoy fresh food grown by our Agriculture students, prepared by our Culinary Arts students under the direction of Chef Nicholas Petti, served family style featuring bowls handmade by our Ceramics Arts students.
While we are looking back and celebrating the achievements of the last 50 years, we are also looking forward and preparing for the growth of the next 50 years: FUNDING THE FUTURE.
The beneficiaries of the scholarship funds raised at the Gala are the future of our community. They are the nurses, auto mechanics, small business owners, childcare providers and firefighters that make up the backbone of our local labor force. At our main campus in Ukiah and our Centers in Lakeport, Willits and Fort Bragg, Mendocino College is preparing people in these communities for careers that improve their own household earning and spending potential while also making up a strong workforce. Mendocino College is the only institution of higher learning that serves all students in our area. Since our inception in 1973, Mendocino College has awarded 14,918 degrees and certificates and supported 343,354 students on their academic journey.
Individual tickets are $100 and tables for 10 people are $900 - all contributions going to our scholarship fund.
Learn about college majors & the careers they prepare you for by connecting with college representatives & local employers.
