Mendocino College welcomes award winning author, Reyna Grande, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Ukiah Campus. The author will share her experiences as a writer, Mexican immigrant and writing instructor. All are welcome to join us for a special reception from 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Lowery Student Center followed by a reading by the author and question/answer session from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theater. This event is free and open to the public.

Mendocino College students have been working hard both in and out of the classroom, producing a wide range of work including ceramics, sculpture, photography, textiles, paintings, drawings, jewelry and mixed media.

Mendocino College Professor of Communications, local novelist, and playwright Jody Gehrman won the prestigious Ebell Playwrights grand prize this year for her latest full-length play, Tribal Life in America. She will travel to Southern California for a professional staged reading of the play and a celebratory supper at the historic Ebell Club of Los Angeles.

The Mendocino College Art Gallery is proud to announce its new exhibit, eXplorations - Paula Gray: taking the X out of anxiety and other stories, which opens with a reception on Thursday, February 9th from 4-6pm. Paula Gray has taught visual arts at Mendocino College since 1986, both as an adjunct and full time professor. After retiring from full time teaching in 2014, she dove headlong into studio projects and has created an extensive and exciting new body of work.

Mendocino College Classified Senate presents it's annual Silent Auction and FUNRaiser, Thursday, December 1st from 10AM to 4PM in the Mendocino College Boardroom.
Proceeds from the event go to the Classified Senate Scholarship Fund to benefit students in need. The event is free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, November 29 the Foundation will embark on our first ever Giving Tuesday campaign. 100% of the proceeds collected will be given to support the Mendocino College Food Pantry. The pantry provides non-perishable food to Mendocino College students in need.
Help us Help them! No amount is too small, everything counts!
Giving Tuesday is a global event and has become the “Day of Giving” following black Friday and cyber Monday’s consumerism.

Mendocino College is pleased and excited to invite the community to join the festivities as the college faculty, staff and students host the 4th annual Día de los Muertos celebration which will take place in the Student Plaza of the Ukiah campus on Wednesday, November 2nd from 4-8pm.
