Things to know before you donate:
- Review Blood Donor Eligibility before making an appointment.
- Appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure a smooth experience.
- Arrive well-nourished and hydrated.
- Bring valid identification with your first and last name, and either a photo or date of birth.
- The donation process takes approximately one hour (allow an additional 30 minutes for a Power Red Cell Donation).
- Consider powering up your donation with an automated Power Red Cell Donation.
- Donors are encouraged to complete the Fast Track Health History questionnaire on the day of their donation by visiting Vitalant.org/health or logging into their donor profile.
