The Hispanic/Latino event planning committee cordially invites you to save the date for the 14th Annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event. This vibrant celebration is open to the whole community free of charge. 

Day of the Dead celebrations date back thousands of years, when Indigenous people from central Mexico would honor their deceased by placing food and water offerings on their resting places. In modern Day of the Dead celebrations, family members continue to practice these traditions by building altars (altares) where they place pictures of their beloved family members along with food and other items their family members enjoyed during their lifetime.

Join the Mendocino College community at the Ukiah Campus for the Fall Student Welcome. Explore student resources & pathways, connect with support services, and enjoy games & snacks. Whether you're new or returning, this event will help you kick off the semester right!

General information and tech support (email, WIFI, etc.) will be available in Pomo Plaza the first week of class. There will be tabling for student support programs and other resources from 11:30 - 1:30 during Tuesday and Wednesday of week two. There will also be food, music and games!

The EOPS Office is pleased to announce our upcoming Financial Wellness Workshop available to all Mendocino College students.

This interactive workshop will provide students with the opportunity to:

• Evaluate their current spending habits
• Learn practical strategies for managing money
• Create a personalized spending plan

The workshop will be offered both in person and via Zoom to allow students flexibility in how they attend.
