Native Now: K’edi Wadim Closing Ceremony

Friday, February 6, 2026 | 3–6 PM

Join us for the closing ceremony of Native Now: K’edi Wadim, an exhibition celebrating the creativity and resilience of contemporary Native artists. “K’edi Wadim” means “Walk Well” in the Northern Pomo dialect, reflecting the show’s focus on cultural continuity, artistry, and presence.

The closing event will include a blessing, song, dance, and food, as well as remarks from the exhibit jurors, who will also share the Land Acknowledgement. Artists featured in the exhibition will be in attendance to speak about their work and the cultural traditions represented in their pieces.

This celebration offers an opportunity to experience the diverse range of artwork showcased in the exhibition, including drawing, painting, photography, regalia, beadwork, weaving, and basketry. The event offers a meaningful space to honor Indigenous perspectives through art, community, and shared cultural expression.
