1. Apply to Mendocino College through CCCApply:

The first step towards becoming a Mendocino College student is to submit your application through the California Community College website: CCCApply. This is the statewide online application system. This streamlined process ensures that your application is efficiently processed, and you receive timely updates regarding your admission status. Once you have submitted your application, you can return to this page to complete the next step.

2. Apply for Financial Aid:

Financing your education is a critical aspect of your college experience. We encourage all students to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). This can qualify you for a variety of financial aid options, including tuition waivers, grants, and scholarships. Our knowledgeable financial aid office is here to guide you through the application process and help you secure the financial resources you need to pursue your academic goals. 3. Complete an Online Orientation

Orientation will ease your transition to Mendocino College and provide you with information on college programs, services, policies, and procedures.   We offer three formats to give you the greatest flexibility to meet your needs.

4. Math and English Placement:

Students can now place into math and English courses using high school records and our new placement tool instead of taking placement tests. 

5. See a Counselor for Your Educational Plan:

Our dedicated counseling team is here to support you in planning your academic journey. Schedule an appointment with a counselor to discuss your goals, interests, and educational pathway. They will guide you in selecting the right courses, ensuring you make progress towards your desired degree or transfer plan. Whether you need assistance with course selection, educational planning, or career exploration, our counselors are ready to help.

6. Register and Pay for Classes through MyMendo:

Once you have your educational plan in place, it's time to register for classes. Our user-friendly online platform, MyMendo, allows you to browse through available courses, build your class schedule, and complete the registration process. Be sure to pay for your classes promptly to secure your seat in each course and finalize your enrollment.
