Support Information for Students:

STUDENTS IMPACTED BY THE FIRES SHOULD CHECK IN AT THE RESOURCE TABLE OUTSIDE ADMISSIONS & RECORDS IN MACMILLAN HALL.

• Textbooks & School Supplies: Please contact Adan Chaidez directly if you have lost textbooks and other supplies due to the fires. He can be reached at achaidez@mendocino.edu or 707-468-3119.

• Food Pantry: Non-perishable food items are free of charge to any current student. Items will be available at the Ukiah Campus (Counseling Office) from 8am-5pm. Additional food pantry resources may be available at the North County Center (Willits) and the Coast Center (Ft. Bragg). Call ahead to confirm. North County Center: 707-459-6224. Coast Center: 707-961-2200.

• Food Voucher: A limited number of food vouchers are available to students with an address in the areas impacted by the fires in our region. Identification must be presented when claiming the food voucher. Food vouchers may be used for the purchase of any food items at select grocery stores. Food vouchers are available at the Ukiah Campus (MacMillan Hall – Room 1020). Available from 8am-5pm. 

• Emergency Funds: Mendocino College faculty, staff and community members have made emergency funds available to students impacted by the evacuations. Please contact Ulises Velasco directly to discuss ways in which Mendocino College can help. He can be reached at uvelasco@mendocino.edu or 707-467-1037.

• Counseling: Mendocino College counselors are available on a drop-in basis for students starting on Monday, July 30th at 9am.

• Information Table: A resource information table in front of Admissions & Records (Ukiah Campus - MacMillan Hall) will be updated with available services in the area.
