Ginny Buccelli is a sixth generation California native. After several rough starts, she managed to successfully complete community college before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Sonoma State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing degree from Antioch University. Prior to teaching at Mendo she taught at Santa Rosa Junior College, Contra Costa College and the California Culinary Academy. Her goal each semester is to summon insightful and challenging essay prompts from the depths of her soul to nurture the educational aspirations of her students.
