The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) becomes available October 1st each year. Visit studentaid.gov to submit your application. Remember to use Mendocino College's School Code (011672) when completing your FAFSA.
Our office uses the FAFSA to determine a student's eligibility to receive financial aid. Based on the information entered on the FAFSA, a student's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is determined and used to calculate their eligibility for financial aid.
