Juvenal Vasquez headshot

Juvenal Vasquez graduated with his Associate of Arts Degree from Mendocino College in 1991 and has been part of the staff since 1997. For over 25 years, Juvenal has worked in both the Financial Aid Department and the Extended Opportunities Program & Services (EOPS). He has a thorough understanding of how these programs inter-relate with other Student Services programs on campus. Juvenal is also knowledgeable of a wide variety of student support services offered on our campus and frequently refers students as needed. Currently, Juvenal will be focusing more on doing outreach and working with the EOPS Program. In addition, he has also served as part of the part-time faculty at Mendocino College and taught Ballet Folklorico for 15 years. He is always willing to take on additional duties such as being the Latino Club Advisor and assisting with putting events together such as the Latino Student Retreat and Dia de los Muertos. With his solid understanding of student support programs and additional degrees held, he is an asset to Mendocino Community College. Whether students are looking to transfer or enter the workforce, Juvenal believes Mendocino College is here to provide the students with the support they need to reach their goals.
