Aly holds a Master’s degree in Integrative Biology and Physiology from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis. Before joining Mendocino College, Aly served as an instructor and academic coordinator in UCLA’s Life Sciences Core Education Department. They bring nearly a decade of experience in higher education, with a focus on biology education, student success, curriculum development, and creating engaging, inclusive learning environments. Outside the classroom, Aly enjoys board games, woodworking, hiking, backpacking, and just about any excuse to spend time outdoors.
