My name is Nick Wright and I am the Coordinator/Counselor of the Disability Resource Center at Mendocino College. I am a life long learner who has a passion for assisting individuals with many barriers to achieve their goals. I was born and raised in Long Beach, California and started working for Mendocino College in April 2018. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University of Long Beach in 2011. After obtaining my Bachelor's degree, I went on to work with people with disabilities in multiple capacities in educational and vocational settings. After gaining experience in the field, I went on to pursue my Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University. While earning my graduate degree, I obtained a certificate in working with individuals with cognitive disabilities and my certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. When I am not working at Mendocino College, I spend my time hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, and nearly anything else related to outdoor activities.
