Poems:Fit
by Carmen Price
Two skinny stick-girls
talk about how they are
twenty pounds heavier
than me.
At home I smile at the
thought of being a stone
lighter than nothing.
Outside, it's too bright
for my eyes
weakened.
All I see in clouds
are faces
watching me.
Wish I didn't have to
walk alone,
but it's a good way
to keep fit.
