Poems:

How Strange It Seems
by Dorothy J. Krohn

How strange it seems that all our dreams
and all our love words spoken
are gone forever from our lips.
The vows we made are broken.

Perhaps it never did exist,
the love we often spoken of.
Was it just a toy, a foolish ploy
that we have made a joke of?

And when we close our eyes
to search our memories of each other
we'll probably swear we were never there,
when we're embraced--
in the arms of another.
