Zephyr is dedicated to celebrating achievement in the arts and encouraging creative excellence by providing a showcase for the highest quality student and alumnae work in literary, recording, and visual arts.

*  Content
The Spring 2004 edition features ten recording arts works in the form of MP3 files. We
invite you to listen to the MP3 files while you browse through the many visual and written works.

The literary arts section includes essays, fiction, plays, and poems.

The visual arts section includes ceramics, sculpture, photography, computer graphics, drawing, painting, and textiles.

*  Eligibility
Any current or former Mendocino college student may submit work.

*  Submission Guidelines
Zephyr will not be published in 2004/2005 due to funding difficulties. Please feel free to peruse our archives, and wish us luck in reviving Zephyr in the future.

*  Visual Arts Entries - Special Recognition
Visual arts entries that are included in Zephyr may be selected to appear in other Mendocino College publications such as the college catalog and class schedules.

Editor: Jody Gehrman. In addition to her editorial responsibilities, Gehrman facilitates literary arts submissions.

Recording Arts: Steve Oliveria facilitates recording arts submissions. Shawn Romine prepared the recording arts MP3 files.

All works submitted to Zephyr are juried by editorial boards comprised of faculty in the respective arts.
