NOTE: If you are submitting in more than one genre, check all boxes that apply.

Brevity is our theme, so short stories, essays and poems must be 600 words or less. Plays must run no longer than 10 minutes (approximately 10 pages, standard playwriting format. If you’re not sure what that is, just read it out loud and see how long it takes. We can always trim a bit if need be. DO NOT let uncertainty about formatting keep you from submitting!)

Please attach a self addressed stamped envelope with proper postage if you want your work returned. Zephyr is not responsible for lost or damaged items. If accepted, you will be asked to submit the manuscript on a disc or as an e-mail file. Please note that this invitation does not guarantee acceptance; the editorial board at Zephyr will determine which submissions will be published.
