Course Description
Introduction to chemical structures, bonding, chemical reactivity,
mechanisms, and organic chemistry (alkanes, alkyl halides, alcohols,
alkenes, alkynes, carbonyl compounds and orgnometallics, carboxylic acids
and amines, difunctional compounds, amino acids, peptides, carbohydrates,
benzene chemistry). Organic chemistry for biological sciences.
