Course Description

American Red Cross certified program to provide entry-level lifeguard
candidates with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and
respond to emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden
illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students
will be required to pass an assessment of their swimming skills in order
to receive Lifeguarding certification. This course meets all California
state law requirements for lifeguard certification.

Additional Information

Material fee is for 5 American Red Cross cards. Some meetings will be at
a pool for skill testing.
