| Course Description |

| American Red Cross certified program to provide entry-level lifeguard |
| candidates with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and |
| respond to emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden |
| illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students |
| will be required to pass an assessment of their swimming skills in order |
| to receive Lifeguarding certification. This course meets all California |
| state law requirements for lifeguard certification. |

| $35 Material fee for 5 American Red Cross cards. This class will meet on |
| four Saturdays, March 28, April 4, 25, and May 2 from 9 am - 6 pm. |
