| Course Description |

| Nursing theory of clients with high-risk, complex, critical care health |
| problems and/or mental health issues. Students will study the nursing |
| process related to care of patients with multi-system disorders, unstable |
| medical conditions, critical health care disorders and mental health |
| diagnoses. An emphasis is on pathophysiology, complex nursing process |
| issues, and professional roles. Supervised clinical experience in health |
| and community settings is included. |
