| This course will focus on effective teaching practices that |
| may significantly impact student learning. Topics include |
| Learner-Centered Teaching and Student Learning Outcomes, |
| Reading Across the Curriculum, Writing Across the Curriculum, |
| Cooperative Learning, and What is Constructivism? This course |
| includes information geared to new, prospective college faculty, |
| adult school teachers, and K-12 teachers. |
