Course Description
This course will introduce a framework for implementing
positive guidance techniques in an early childhood setting.
Students will conduct a self assessment of their current
practices, discuss ways the child's temperament and needs
impact their behavior and examine the effect of environmental
factors in the classroom. Students will learn new strategies
for handling challenging behavior and develop a plan for
implementing them in their classrooms.
