| This course will examine a diversity of cultural |
| phenomena, including material culture, economics, |
| social and political organization, religion, language |
| and related topics from different times and lands. It |
| will also explore the significance of the historical |
| emergence of various cultural traditions, with implications of |
| understanding our own society. |
