Course Description

An exploration of the psychological condition known as post-traumatic
stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD is an intense emotional reaction to a
profoundly distressing event or experience such as combat, domestic
violence, rape, natural disasters, or terrorist attacks. Symptoms
include disturbing flashbacks, impulsivity, depression, hypervigilance,
increased startle reflex, and nightmares.

Additional Information

Students must atend all sessions to receive credit for the course.
