Course Description
An introduction to the philosophy and conceptual framework of the program;
in addition, the roles of the registered nurse as care provider and
teacher. Focus on competencies expected of the graduate ADN, critical
thinking skills, patient education, ethical dilemmas, and current issues
in nursing. Community service learning projects will be incorporated into
developing the role of a professional nurse.
