Course Description
An introduction to the concepts of pharmacology and theory of medication
administration for the Registered Nurse. It offers the first semester RN
student information required to administer medications safely within the
health care setting. Content includes drug calculations, rights of drug
administration, routes of medication administration, drug classification
systems, basic pharmacokinetics, and patient teaching associated with drug
administration.
