| Includes the study and performance of chamber works written for various |
| woodwind instrument combinations. The repertoire selected will represent |
| all style periods and will include literature with instrumentation ranging |
| from the standard woodwind quintet to saxophone quartet. Includes an |
| emphasis on the development of an appreciation for the integrity of both |
| emotional and intellectual responses to music of Western and non-Western |
| cultures. Student must audition and demonstrate ability to play music at |
| sight. Attendance at scheduled rehearsals and performances is required. |
