| Course Description |

| This course covers economic analysis of the theory of income |
| determination; national income accounting, business cycles, monetary and |
| fiscal policy, the national debt, the banking system of the United States, |
| and economic growth and development. Students will learn to use |
| macroeconomic principles to analyze the problems of poverty, and income |
| distribution. |
