| Designed to acquaint the student with basic ceramic materials and |
| techniques, wheel throwing, hand building, clay body and glaze |
| compounding, and kiln firing. Emphasis on the development of an |
| appreciation for the integrity of both emotional and intellectual |
| responses to works of human imagination. |
