Duncan McMartin, Head Coach
New Women's Soccer coach Duncan McMartin led the inaugural Lady Eagles to fourth place in the Blue Division of the Bay Valley Conference. Three students made the all conference team: Courtney Freeman, Zahara Coddington and Madaline Aseltyne. Duncan was honored as the Coach of-the-Year; quite an honor for a first year head coach.
Coach McMartin joined Mendocino College in Fall 2004. Prior to that he was the Head Soccer Coach at Austin College in Texas, a NCAA Division. He was head coach at Davis High School in Northern California, and an assistant coach at Humboldt State University before accepting the job at Austin College. Mr. McMartin has a Master's Degree in Kinesiology, and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. He has a USSF 'A' license and played at UC Davis.
