Billy Offill, Men's Basketball Head Coach
After a stellar career at El Molino High School in Forestville, CA, which Billy Offill was named Press Democrat Large School Player of the Year and Sonoma County League Most Valuable Player in 1996, he played his freshman season at Santa Rosa Junior College. Offill then transferred to Mendocino College where he redshirted a year and then played his sophomore season. During his sophomore season at Mendocino College, he helped lead Mendocino to the Northern California playoffs. Offill averaged 14.6 points per game and led the state in assists with 8.3 per game.
Offill earned a full athletic scholarship to the College of Idaho, a NAIA Division II school in Caldwell, ID. There he helped his team to 50 wins in two seasons, including a berth in the elite eight at the national Tournament in Branson, MO. Offill received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education from College of Idaho and his Master of Arts degree in Human Performance and Sports from New Mexico Highlands University.
Previously, Offill was an assistant coach for Mendocino College from 2002-2005, before moving on to Modesto Junior College as an assistant from 2005-2006. Offill, was the Men’s Head Basketball Coach at College of the Siskiyous from 2006-2009. College of the Siskiyous won 22 games in his final season and earned a Northern California playoff berth. In three seasons at Mendocino College, Coach Offill has led the team to consecutive Bay Valley Conference Bay Division Titles as well as back-to-back Northern California Playoff appearances. The Eagles have posted an impressive 21-3 conference record over the past two seasons.
