Are you interested in attending Sonoma State University in FALL 2012?

Sonoma State University is the only CSU offering Priority Registration solely for Mendocino College.  We have found last year most CSUs were no longer able to offer a Transfer Admissions Agreement (TAA), which is also called an Instant Admission (IA), due to the California budget crisis. 

In lieu of this, our SSU representative met with students at Mendocino College to see if they qualified for Priority Registration.  Many of our students did qualify and their application for admission was placed ahead of other students from around California.  Our SSU representative travelled to our campuses five times last year during our Fall semester to see students who had fulfilled the necessary requirements and wanted to transfer to SSU.

If you are interested in attending Sonoma State for Fall 2013, your first step is to visit our Transfer Counselor, Candie Dickinson, in August or September, to see if you have fulfilled the necessary requirements.

As for all CSU campuses, the period in which you may submit your applications is from October 1 - November 30, 2012 for Fall 2013 enrollment.  If you would like to find out more about applying to a CSU go to: http://www.csumentor.edu.
