STUDENT ACTIVITIES HORTICULTURE CLUB The Hort Club is open to all Mendocino College students. Persons outside the school are also invited to attend selected club-sponsored events. Club activities focus on those that enhance the educational and learning atmosphere of attending students. Past activities have included field trips to events and botanical gardens outside of our area, landscaping projects at Mendocino College, plant sales, guest speakers and barbeques. This year’s activities include a landscaping project within the agricultural grounds, field trips, plant sales and barbeques. Scholarships This year, the club will initiate a new scholarship that will be awarded to one or more Hort Club members. These scholarships can be used to purchase books and supplies.
