PUBLIC NOTICE/ANNOUNCEMENT

2009-2010

The NAAC committee is dedicated to addressing concerns and questions regarding the quality of services and education being provided by Mendocino College. The committee meets monthly to develop support data that will eventually be presented as recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

The N.A.A.C. (Native American Advisory Committee of Mendocino College) is currently holding our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00a.m. at the Mendocino College Campus in Room 1015.

Represented on the committee are members of the community, Mendocino College Native American students, faculty member appointed by the Mendocino College Academic Senate, and college administrative staff.

Lake and Mendocino Counties. Reservation & Rancheria Education Departments & Tribal Representatives, Community members whom have an interest in advising & supporting Native American Affairs at Mendocino College are strongly encouraged to attend.  One of the projects the committee is working on is to developing  Native American curricula  for Mendocino College.  N.A.A.C. would like for anyone who is interested to come and attend to share you thoughts and interests.
