After much work and collaboration among constituent groups, the Mendocino College 5-year Strategic Plan has been revised and updated AND our first ever Annual Action Plan has been completed.

The purpose of putting the Action Plan together was to have a smaller (less intimidating) document that we could use to guide our planning and budget decisions for the current year.  The strategies that we all thought we could accomplish this year, despite the budget situation are listed in the Action Plan.  All items in the Action Plan come directly from the Strategic Plan and have also been highlighted in the longer Strategic Plan document. 

To help keep us on track, Dean Mark Rawitsch has agreed to take on oversight duties for the Action Plan.  He will be (gently and tenderly) reminding all of us of what we said we were going to do in the Action Plan and of the agreed-upon completion dates.  He will be providing a monthly update to PBC (Planning and Budgeting Committee) about what strategies have been implemented.
