Orientations for Spanish Speakers Wanting to Take Classes at Mendocino College

Mendocino College is for everyone!  You don’t have to be a high school graduate

and the cost to take classes is very low.  Financial aid is also available to help with registration fees and other school expenses.

Several classes are taught in Spanish at the Ukiah campus.  Classes are offered in the following subjects:  basic math, writing/reading/speaking English, computers, Spanish for Spanish speakers, health and first aid, and Mexican folkloric dance.  You can also learn English at the Lake and Willits Centers and at Grace Hudson Elementary School and at St. Mary’s Church in Ukiah.

If you would like help with completing forms for financial aid and registration, please plan to come to one of these orientations:  Monday, August 10, 12:00-2:00 p.m. or 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ukiah campus in Room 1230; Tuesday, August 11 or Thursday,

August 13, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church; or Wednesday, August 12 or Monday, August 17, 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Grace Hudson Elementary School in Ukiah.  Spanish-speaking counselors, staff, and teachers will be there to assist you.
