Current EOPS News as of December 16, 2011:

 


Current EOPS students do not need to re-apply for EOPS for Spring 2012.  You will be notified, after Fall 2011 grades are posted, regarding your EOPS status for Spring 2012.  In the meantime, read the following to see what you need to do to receive your Book Voucher for the Spring 2012 semester. 

 
Current EOPS students who meet the following conditions at the end of Fall 2011 will be in Good Standing with EOPS for Spring 2012:  

  1. Made all 3 EOPS Contacts, according to the guidelines, for Fall 2011.
  2. Completed Fall 2011 units with a 2.00 grade point average.
  3. Have not completed 70 degree applicable units at the end of Fall 2011.
  4. Have not received 6 consecutive semesters of EOPS at the end of Fall 2011.

EOPS students in Good Standing for Spring 2012 need to attend one of the following Spring Kick-off Meetings to receive information on EOPS services and EOPS Grant, a free notebook and pen, and a Book Voucher.

Due to budget constraints, we are unable to offer Kick-off Meetings at the Willits Center.

 


Students who did not complete #1 or #2 above (see Good Standing section) will be notified as soon as grades are posted regarding their EOPS status (either Probation or Disqualification) for Spring 2012.  Students who are placed on EOPS Probation must complete the EOPS Probation Requirements (including attending an EOPS Orientation) before receiving any EOPS services for Spring 2012.

 
Students who are new to EOPS or are placed on EOPS Probation must attend one EOPS Orientation before receiving EOPS services for Spring 2012.  Students must stay for the entire orientation.  Students who bring children or arrive late will not be permitted to attend, so please plan accordingly.  The EOPS Orientations for Spring 2012 are:
