Mendocino College softball players earn BVC Honors    Ukiah, CA – Six members of the Mendocino College Softball program were named to the Bay Valley Conference team.  
    Freshman utility player Tasha DenBeste (Cloverdale) player and sophomore center fielder Amber Shepherd (Willits) were named first team.  
    Freshman third baseman Nicole Irwin (Ukiah) and sophomore pitcher Taylor Barrett (Phoenix, OR) were named second team.
    Sophomore infielder Chelsea Meeker (Ukiah) and sophomore catcher Sarah Luetke (Yreka) were named honorable mention.  
   

Mendocino finished third in the Bay Valley Conference with a 14-6 record and finished the season at 21-21.
