Mendocino College to host youth soccer camp

    Ukiah, CA – The Mendocino College Women’s soccer program will be hosting their 6th annual youth soccer camp June 16-19.

    The four day camp runs from 9 a.m. until noon at Mendocino College and is offered to boys and girls from ages 5-13.

    Mendocino College Head Women's Soccer Coach Duncan McMartin, who has a USSF ‘A’ License, will conduct the camp and will be aided by current Mendocino College staff and players.

    The youth camp is aimed at recreational level players and will focus on youth player development in terms of individual skill and team strategy.

    The cost of the camp is $60.00 and scholarships are available through the Ryan Rones Dickey Memorial Soccer Fund.

    Applications can be downloaded from the Mendocino College website at www.mendocino.edu.

    Campers are encouraged to sign-up soon, since the camp is limited to 70 players.
