717030: Flooring Replacement

 

Scope of Project: Replace existing 15 year old carpeting

Budget: $400,000

Target Completion Date: 2007-08

Point Persons: Director of Facility Planning - Mike Adams, Director of Maintenance & Operations - Larry Wise, and Custodial Supervisor - Tony Risch

UPDATE

July 2009 - Replacement of the PE hallways is in the planning phase. Target date for completion is to be determined. 

September 2008 - New flooring in the Fitness Lab and Weight Room was installed during the month. Room 1015, a conference room in MacMillan Hall, was also updated with new carpeting during September. Plans call for new flooring to be installed in the Business Office, CVPA, and the PE hallways are scheduled to take place during the Winter Break.

June 2008 - Floor replacements within MacMillan Hall and other buildings on campus will be scheduled to coincide with specific area renovation projects and to minimize disruption to class schedules. A plan for replacement of the flooring in the fitness lab and weight room has been approved and will be completed during the summer 2008 break. Flooring replacement for the Fine Arts building is currently in the planning stages.  

February 2008 - Planning is continuing to determine costs for the replacement of flooring in the PE and the Center for the Visual & Performing Arts buildings.

December 2007 - Flooring replacement in the Career Center, Financial Aid, and hallways has been completed. Flooring in the Couseling Office is scheduled for completion during the current fiscal year. Classrooms and offices of MacMillan Hall, along with other building on campus will be sequenced to coincide with renovation projects in those buildings in order to minimize disruption to classes and district operations.

August 2007 - Carpeting has been replaced in the President's Office and Board room.
