Let's increase environmental awareness, encourage civic involvement and enhance environmental action!

Mendocino College will host an Earth Day event on April 22, 2008. Campus clubs, nonprofits, private and commercial displays will be set up on campus. In addition, student displays will be showcased, with information about global warming, how it is affecting us, and what we can do. Earth Day will be an educational, stimulating and fun day for everyone involved!

Keynote Speaker!!

Eloise Kendy is the Director of the Environmental Flows Program of the Nature Conservancy and is a member of the Association for Women Geoscientists. Dr. Kendy's specialty is in protection of rivers, lakes and groundwater. She received her Ph.D. in environmental engineering from Cornell University. Dr. Kendy's talk will be broadcasted live on the Streaming Eagle as well as KMEC (105.1 FM)!!
