Twenty-two Years of Giving to Higher Education

In 2005-6, the Foundation provided:
• $62,500 in student scholarships
• $20,000 for community outreach
• $15,000 to add to an $85,000 gift from Madilyn & Dennis Yeo to provide a facility for the Culinary Arts Program
• $9,000 to the Fund for Innovation & Improvement
• $3,500 for the MC Jazz Band’s annual performance at the Reno competition
• $3,500 for student orientation
• $2,500 for student textbooks
• $2,000 for faculty to attend the annual Great Teachers Seminar
• $2,000 for the Tom McMillan Endowed Chair
