2013-2014 MENDOCINO COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS are available now. Turn in your application before 4 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013.
Scholarships Applications	The Mendocino College Scholarship application period is from January 2 to March 1 each year. Applications packets are posted online or are available at the Ukiah campus, Lake Center, or Willits Center during that time. You only have to fill out one application to be considered for all the scholarship awarded throught the Mendocino College Scholarship awards program. *CLICK HERE for an application timeline calendar.
Scholarship Application Workshops	SCHEDULE A WORKSHOP TODAY! Workshops help guide applicants through our 2013-14 application packet and provide: Scholarship packet overview Tips for writing a winning scholarship essay Samples of scholarship award winning essays Letters of Recommendation – tips & requirements Types of scholarships awarded Other scholarship opportunities Schedule an application workshop at your high school today! Mendocino College Foundation Scholarships	Each Spring the Mendocino College Foundation awards scholarships to new and returning students for the following Fall and Spring semesters. FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY for Spring 2013 Applications are now being accepted for the Albert and Patricia Beltrami Scholarship/Intership program. To qualify for consideration you must: Be a Mendocino or Lake County resident Have a 3.0 GPA or better Have successfully completed POL 80, 200 or 204 Intend to major in business, political science or related field Intend to pursue a career in local government CLICK HERE for more information and/or a scholarship application.
Local Donor Sponsored Scholarships	Mendocino College is your link to local donor-sponsored scholarship awards. The donor or the College will select students for these awards based on the applications received and if the student meets the scholarship criteria. If you or your organization would like to provide a scholarship for the 2013-2014 Academic year, please contact Lana Eberhard, Scholarship Coordinator at 707-467-1018 for more information. Donors award scholarships to new, returning and transferring students for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.

Other Scholarship Opportunities	Other scholarship opportunities are available year-round through a wide variety of foundations, non-profit organizations, companies, and others Some outside scholarships require the student to be nominated by Mendocino College. Applications for these awards are available online and some provide applications that can be picked up from the Scholarship Application folders located below the Scholarship bulletin board in MacMillan Hall.
