For Students > EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services)
What is EOPS?
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-fund program that provides services to low income students who meet certain educational criteria. The EOPS program is designed for full-time students. A small percentage of new students who plan to enroll in 9-11.5 units (3/4 time) may be accepted; and students certified to receive services from the Disabled Resource Center (DRC) are exempt from the 12-unit requirement. Both, DRC students and students wishing to enter the EOPS program at 9-11.5 units, should print and complete the Waiver of 12 Units form below and submit it with their EOPS Application. The EOPS Program assists eligible individuals in successfully pursuing a college education. From the time a student first applies to college to the time he/she graduates, EOPS provides a comprehensive program of supportive services to all new and continuing EOPS students.
